To encourage collaboration and reduce duplication of work, Canon wanted to deliver a revolutionary company intranet experience to its staff all over the world.. Working as a UX designer at MSLGROUP, I interviewed several members of Canon staff to understand their frustrations with existing systems and discover any needs and wants for a new one. I presented my findings to stakeholders in the form of mind maps, personas and wireframes, then collaborated with the agency’s visual design and development teams to deliver “Miru” - a user-friendly, Office 365-based intranet that breaks down communication barriers and delivers relevant, timely information.
